Free Online Random Name Picker & Wheel Spinner

Our Spin the Wheel tool is a free, beautifully designed online randomizer. Whether you are a teacher looking to pick a student for an activity, a streamer hosting a giveaway, or a group of friends trying to decide where to eat for dinner, this interactive wheel of fortune makes making random choices fun and entirely unbiased.

How to Use the Spin Wheel

• 1. Enter Your Choices: On the left side of the tool, you will see a text box. Delete the default names and type in your own choices. Make sure to put one name or item per line.
• 2. Update the Wheel: Click the blue "Update Wheel" button. You will instantly see your custom choices populated onto the colorful pie chart.
• 3. Spin! Click the giant orange "SPIN!" button. The wheel uses realistic physics to spin rapidly before slowing down and landing on a random winner.

Is the Result Truly Random?

Yes! The spinning algorithm relies on advanced JavaScript math functions. When you click spin, it generates a completely randomized initial velocity and applies a strict mathematical friction curve to slow it down. This guarantees that every single name on the wheel has the exact same statistical probability of winning, preventing any human bias.

100% Private and Runs Offline

Because this application is built using the native HTML5 Canvas API, the names you enter are never uploaded to a server or saved in a database. The entire randomization and drawing process happens securely inside your own web browser. Once you refresh or close the page, the data is completely gone.
