How to Use the Translator

• Translate Text: Simply type your message into the "Plain Text" box. The tool automatically and instantly translates your English letters and numbers into standard International Morse Code dots (.) and dashes (-).
• Play Audio: Click the Play Audio button to hear your message translated into audio beeps. The glowing visual indicator will flash along with the sound, giving you both a visual and auditory learning experience.
• Adjust Speed: Use the WPM (Words Per Minute) slider to speed up or slow down the playback. Beginners usually start around 10-15 WPM to learn the rhythm, while experts can listen at 25+ WPM.

How Does Morse Code Timing Work?

Morse code relies on strict timing rules to be understood correctly. Our tool calculates the audio based on the internationally recognized "PARIS" standard:

• A dot (.) is the basic unit of time measurement.
• A dash (-) is exactly three times as long as a dot.
• The silence between dots and dashes in the same letter is equal to one dot.
• The silence between letters is equal to three dots.
• The silence between words (represented by a slash /) is equal to seven dots.
